the morning news has an excellent article by a non-blogger in williamsburg (hipster capital of brooklyn, though he’s apparently not really a hipster) who got invited to a bloggers’ party. interesting quote:

If there is one word to describe bloggers, it is ‘vulnerable.’ Another word–well, phrase–might be ‘incredibly self-aware.’ Talking to them was like seeing Smiths songs come to life.

there’s more to it as well. he talks about moving to williamsburg, his new roommates, and a woman at work (who invited him to the blog party). all in all it reads like an excellent blog entry; i don’t think he gets blogs, but he’d probably be a decent blogger.
