so i got a package the other day. not too weird, as i ordered something from e-bay. so i buzzed the ups guy in, but then i saw the box. totally wrong shape–4′ x 8″ x 8″, when i was expecting something much closer to a cube.
anyway, i signed for the package and opened it up–it’s a folding camp chair that says “class of 2004″ in big letters. i guess it’s because i just got a u of m alumni visa from them, but it’s in black and red, not maize and blue. that may be because i had an existing rpi alumni account with them.
anyway, it was pretty cool because it came right around my birthday, but i’m only class of 2004 for my master’s degree, and it’s hard to identify with my graduation year for that, as it’s kind of a side thought on the way to my ph.d.
also, i still haven’t gotten my ebay package. if i don’t get it before the weekend, i’ll send an e-mail to the seller.
