i am in new york. google is putting me up at 1600 broadway, just above times square. the only problem is that i’ve only got 2 weeks to find an apartment in new york. if you’ve never looked for an apartment in new york, you might not think that’s such a big deal. let me tell you, it is. there is documentation required—1040s, bank account statements, photocopies of photo id, etc. it’s a giant pain. anyway, i put in an application for a great place on the upper west side near the park. here’s hoping i get it.
